Fun for Young People of all ages!
Here's the copy in the ad: The Brockton Symphony Orchestra presents music from Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and more at the 50th Anniversary Children’s Concert on Sunday, March 6th at 3 PM at the Brockton High School Auditiorium. See artwork by Brockton students on a 20 foot screen; listen to the Brockton High School Concert Band, the Plouffe Academy Gold Band, and the South Middle School Jazz Choir. Brockton Symphony Players surround two pianos as Carol Chaffee and Amy Korim play Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals, narrated by Harry Williams and special guest Ken Feinberg. Amy Korim performed it with the Brockton Symphony 50 years ago, when Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music were released. Adult tickets are Ten dollars, children Five, under five free. Sizzling Concert MOVED. It will be wonderful wherever it is played
My ad is for Sunday's Sizzling Symphonic Favorites (MOVED from Massasoit CC to Christ Congregational Church) AND the May 6th 50th Anniversary Children's Concert. For the first time in an ad I have copied commercial TV, speeding up the vocal track to pack in so many words.
Here is the ad copy: The Brockton Symphony Orchestra performs Sizzling Symphonic Favorites on Sunday, February 21st, 3 PM at the Buckley Performing Arts Center, Massasoit Community College. Family-friendly pieces include the Light Cavalry Overture; Weber’s Concertino for Clarinet, with principal clarinetist Torben Hansen; the Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra narrated by Harry Williams; and Four Fabulously Fiery Finales by Stravinsky, Beethoven, Sibelius and Tchaikowsky.
