7 years to the day after the Trustees of the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy, Massachusetts, honored me with a retirement party, The Oxford, Massachusetts Board of Selectmen and the Trustees of the Oxford Free Public Library voted to appoint me to fill a vacancy on the Board of Trustees. Trustee Chair John Bowes recognized the many years of service by John "Jack" Flynn, whose resignation was due to moving to another community.
Since posting this, on June 29th, on the eve of the Town Election where I am seeking election to a full term as a Library Trustee, I re-posted my "Post Retirement Resume" which had been included in this post.
